The most foolproof way to find out if a guy likes you is to use body language. Now girls are masters of body language, and most men have a hard time reading it. But that doesn’t stop them from using it, even if they don’t even know what they’re doing.
Here’s a list of the nine most common ways a guy will show his interest in you without saying a word:
The Eyebrow Lift – When we see someone we dig, we will unconsciously lift our eyebrows briefly, letting them fall back. This whole thing takes about a fifth of a second, so we don’t even notice. Since it’s so quick, you have to be looking for it as soon as he sees you or you’ll miss it.
Parting His Lips – If he likes you, when you first make eye contact you’ll notice his lips slightly parting just for a moment. Another tell tale sign that the guy likes you, but once again you have to be quick!
Flaring Nostrils – It sounds kinda weird, but if his nostrils flare, combined with the eyebrow lift and parting lips, his face opens up and looks more friendly. All done by his body without thought. Definitely a good sign!
Grooming – Guys and girls both do this, but when he sees you, if he likes you he will check his clothes, his hair, and make sure everything is in order. It’s a total mating ritual, and it’s a dead giveaway.
He Tries To Get Your Attention – He may turn into a clown, or be loud, or try to get your attention in any other way. It’s the old grade school showing off that we all used to do.
He’ll Check You Out (And Let You See It!) – If he likes you, he’s already checked out your body as soon as he saw you. You just didn’t notice! But lots of guys will do it again, a little more obviously, to make sure you notice that he likes what he sees!
He Stands Erect – Get your mind out of the gutter! What I mean is that he’ll stand up straight, chest out a bit, with muscles pulled in tight. This is like animals preening in nature, and a guy just can’t help it. He’ll also lean in a little to get into your personal space. Let him!
He Sits With His Legs Open – A guy who sits with his legs open is showing that he’s open to you and likes you. It’s another one of those age old preening displays that makes him take up more space than he normally does.
He Guides You With His Touch – If you’re walking around, or getting through a crowd, he’ll give you his arm or guide you with a hand on the small of your back. It’s a display of ownership and shows other guys that he’s laying claim to you. It’s also something that indicates that he knows what he wants and is taking charge. Always a good thing!
